• Join the Trundle Film Society

    Join the Trundle Film Society before May 1st to nominate three films for the 18-19 FY season programme. Join before June 1st to vote on the programme. Membership costs $100 for 12 months, $70 for six months and $40 for three months. The Trundle Film Society is a not for profit organisation enriching Trundle’s cultural options.

  • THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS screening Wednesday 18th October

    THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS will be Trundle’s first Screenreader event on Wednesday 18th October.

    Deb Anderson will host the pop up book club at 2pm in the Library to discuss the novel.

    The film is to be screened afterwards at 3pm at the Staging Post Trundle just down the road in the old post office building.

    The book club is free, the film is $15 (rated M). You can just turn up without a reservation to both events or the book club or film individually.

  • Help Save the Stories of Trundle this September

    We are looking for anyone with stories to tell about the history of Trundle for a short documentary for the Trundle Film Society.

    We’re also looking for anyone to help make videos with free workshops on offer to learn the skills.

    Workshops at the Staging Post Trundle

    • Two hour workshop Introduction to Production Part I will take place Thursday 7th September, 2017 at 2pm. You will learn basic camera and lighting set-up in preparation for shooting exercises.
    • First shooting date is Friday 8th September with a prominent and well respected lady of the Trundle Community.
    • Video crew workshop 2 hours. Thursday 10th September at 2pm.

  • Announcing Classic Concert FilmFest 4-5 May 2017

    Announcing the CLASSIC CONCERT FILMFEST, four of the greatest music films including HEART OF GOLD, THE BEATLES EIGHT DAYS A WEEK, MARLEY & THE LAST WALTZ at the Staging Post Trundle.
